Sony Music is thrilled to present the soundtrack album to accompany the highly-anticipated film, Last Christmas, co-scripted by Emma Thompson and inspired by the music of George Michael and Wham! Last Christmas, the soundtrack album, features 3 fabulous Wham! songs including Last Christmas, Everything She Wants as well as 12 George Michael solo tracks from throughout his career. The film began when the acclaimed British film producer David Livingstone (best known for the BAFTA Award winning feature film Pride, and the Renee Zellweger feature, Judy) spoke of his love of Wham!’s iconic hit Last Christmas to the Oscar-winning actor, producer and screenwriter, Emma Thompson.

Kash Doll, Kim Petras, ALMA and Stefflon Don jump right in to showcase the strength of women in numbers on the opener “How It’s Done”.

Hildur Guonadóttir composed the 17-track soundtrack to director Todd Phillips’ original, standalone origin story Joker which explores the world of—and according to - Arthur Fleck. Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for Martin Scorsese’s crime drama The Irishman. The album features a selection of songs from the movie by artists including The Five Satins, Fats Domino, Smiley Lewis, Donnie Elbert, Bill Doggett & others. Also included is the Theme for the Irishman composed by Robbie Robertson. The Irishman stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jesse Plemons, Kathrine Narducci, Sebastian Maniscalco, Emma Tillinger Koskoff and Jane Rosenthal. The movie based on Charles Brandt’s nonfiction book I Heard You Paint Houses is set in post-war America and chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa. The drama, which premiered at this year’s New York Film Festival, is opening in select theaters this weekend before its debut on Netflix on November 27.

WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the action comedy Shaft. The album features the film’s original score composed by Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Horrible Bosses, Agent Carter, Ride Along, Think Like a Man). Also included is the original song Too Much Shaft performed by Quavo (with Saweetie), as well as tracks by Switch, Souls of Mischief, Rick James, Das EFX, Quincy Jones, The Math Club, James Brown, Kris P., Caleborate and Bobby Bland. The soundtrack will be released on June 7 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Shaft is Samuel L. Jackson, Jesse T. Usher, Regina Hall, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Lauria, Titus Welliver, Cliff “Method Man” Smith and Richard Roundtree. The film will be released in theaters nationwide on June 14 by Warner Bros. Golden Globe nominated composer Alex Heffes has over 60 film and TV scores to his name. It was his scores to Kevin Macdonald's Academy Award-winning films ONE DAY IN SEPTEMBER, THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND and BAFTA-winning TOUCHING THE VOID that first won him international acclaim. Alongside his long collaboration with Macdonald, he has worked with many of cinema’s top filmmakers such as Stephen Frears, Mira Nair, Catherine Hardwicke, Peter Webber and Tim Burton earning him the reputation as a composer with a unique voice who can communicate with directors at a deep level.

Carter Burwell has recently recorded his score for the upcoming animated feature Missing Link. The film is written and directed by Chris Butler (ParaNorman) and features the voice talent of Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Thompson, Stephen Fry, Timothy Olyphant, Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Ching Valdez-Aran and Amrita Acharia. The movie revolves around the world’s foremost investigator of myths and monsters as he travels to America’s Pacific Northwest to prove the existence of a legendary creature. Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings, Bumblebee) is producing the LAIKA production with Arianne Sutner (ParaNorman). Missing Link is set to be released on April 12, 2019 by Annapurna Pictures.
