Blood Ceremony is a Canadian psychedelic rock band formed in 2006 in Toronto, Ontario. Blood Ceremony's style has been described as "flute-tinged witch rock" and their lyrics are filled with black magic imagery and references to classic horror films. The band is fronted by singer/flutist/organist Alia O'Brien, whose flute solos are reminiscent of Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson.

Recorded and mixed by producer Ian Blurton (Cauldron, Cursed) and mastered by Canadian recording legend Nick Blagona (Deep Purple, Rainbow, Crazy World of Arthur Brown), The Eldritch Dark is a full-length paean to the darker corners of folklore and legend. Containing eight tracks of black magic rock 'n' roll, the album crackles with the excitement of a nocturnal ritual.Tales of witch-cult gatherings in wooded glens, pacts made in torch-lit abbeys and Victorian magic are accompanied by vintage-style hard rock riffs, snaking bass lines and stirring flute melodies.The Eldritch Dark also sees the band exploring a more folkier side of their sound; most evident in the hymn-like Lord Summerisle and the murderous early Fairport Convention tinged folk-rock epic, Ballad of the Weird Sisters. 19th century sorcerer, Oliver Haddo, makes a return appearance in the riff-hypnotic album closer,The Magician.

‘Tasting The Tears’ is Progressive Metal masters Eldritch’s ninth studio album in their almost 20 year career. This time the whole band worked together as a team, writing 11 brand new tracks melting each member’s influences into one direction. The result is 100% Eldritch: powerful guitars, melodic tunes and technical instrumental parts perfectly blended into a classic Progressive album with Hard Rock influences, thrashy and dark at intervals but, most importantly, remarkable in its own, unique way.
