Boasting six Kate originals and skilfully produced by husband Damien O'Kane, this 12-track album is full of his vibrant trademarks and unexpected twists and tangents ranging from subtle, sensitive treatments to unflinching flamboyance making for a brimming, full bodied soundscape.

Relics is the fourth release from nouveau synth-pop trip Faded Paper Figures, who have been doing their thing on record since 2008, when they released their debut album. Of equal interest, two of the band, singer/keyboardist Heather Alden is a doctor and is married to multi-instrumentalist Kael Alden; guitarist/singer R. John Williams is a professor at Yale (if that isn’t enough, he’s a published author). So it goes without saying, I expected this group to deliver “smart” music and dammit, they do.

In The End His Voice Will Be The Sound Of Paper is a 2016 collaborative album between The Trondheim Jazz Orchestra with Kim Myhr and Jenny Hval. This was released in Norway by Hubro.

As an artist, singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Samantha Fish has earned numerous accolades for her unique self-expression (including multiple Blues Music Awards and a GRAMMY nomination), which she channels through explosive riffs, visceral rhythms, and spine-tingling vocals. Her talent has been recognized by none other than Eric Clapton, who invited her to perform at his Crossroads 2023 in Los Angeles. She’s a festival headliner, who has graced the cover of guitar magazines and toured internationally to packed houses. Fish commands her cathartic shows with her edgy vocal delivery and in-your-face slide guitar.

Uncle, Duke & The Chief is the 2018 album not by uncle, Duke, and the chief but rather guitarist Luke Lalonde, bassist Mitch Derosier (bass), guitarist Andy Lloyd and drummist Steve Hamelin, who are known as Born Ruffians. This was released by Canadian label Paper Bag.

Paper On Plastic is a 2011 5-song EP by Connecticut hip-hop fiends The Interstellar Elevators. This project was self-released, which means it was made for their fans.
