NOCI- Uscirà il prossimo 1 dicembre l’album “Tuttodunfiato”, che conterrà tutti i bellissimi brani eseguiti nel tuour estivo de “I Musici Pugliesi”. L’omonimo gruppo è formato da giovanissimi musicisti che sotto la direzione del Maestro Antonio Tinelli, con passione e impegno stanno provando a dare concretezza al loro amore per la musica.

The Italian harpsichordist, fortepianist, organist and conductor, Davide Pozzi, got the diploma with full marks of harpsichord, fortepiano and clavichord (M. Porrà), and organ and organ composition (Eva Frick Galliera) at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan. At the same conservatoire he got a first-class degree in organ. Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari (1876-1948) is a composer difficult to classify. A child of his time he kept aloof from the innovations of the modernists and dodecaphony.

As part of his research Davide will produce recordings comprising both solo and chamber repertoire, performing on instruments which are faithful reproductions of those on which the music was intended to be performed. The large number of these works have never been recorded.

Davide Pozzi got the diploma with full marks of harpsichord, fortepiano and clavichord, and organ and organ composition at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan. He completed his studies at the Civica Scuola di Musica di Milano with Lorenzo Ghielmi, and then at the Schola Cantorum in Basilea, attending Andera Marcon and Jean Claude Zehnder’s classes.After being given a prize in several organ and harpsichord national contests, he won the second prize as harpsichordist of the “Estro Cromatico” ensemble at the international contest “Bonporti” in Rovereto and the Bärenreiter prize at the “Telemann” in Magbeburgo, whose chairman, in both contests, was Gustav Leonhardt.

Ottorino Respighi was in the vanguard of the 20th-century rebirth of Italian symphonic music. Famed for his Roman Trilogy, Respighi was also prominent in the synthesis of pre-Classical melodic styles and late-Romantic harmonies and textures. These are the elements that make the Ancient Airs and Dances so captivating and expressive, as Respighi draws on dances by 16th-century composers to brilliant effect. The Concerto allantica is an early, beautifully poetic work that again draws on ancient styles, in a recording that uses the first printed critical edition of the work by Salvatore Di Vittorio, published in 2019.
