Sunset in the Blue is an orchestral celebration of her jazz roots. She is reunited with the multi-Grammy award winning production team of her platinum-selling album My One and Only Thrill: Producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), arranger and composer Vince Mendoza ((Björk, Robbie Williams, Elvis Costello) and the legendary engineer Al Schmitt (Frank Sinatra, Joao Gilberto, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney).

Urban Waves Records proudly presents “Whispers in the Wood” the 4th full-length album from 27 year old producer and multi-instrumentalist, Peik Wahl. In this latest installment of the Borealism project, Wahl reaches new heights, expanding his sound far beyond the limitations of his previous projects. “Whispers in the Wood” meanders across several electronic genres including downtempo and ambient, maintaining balance between melodic harmony and stark dissonance.

Meeting somewhere in a place in time and space occupied by Pink Floyd and Ashra - spacey and meditative instrumentals from Berlin guitarist Mathias Rosmann.

Inspired by his Highland heritage, the young tenor Glen Cunningham presents a personal and heartfelt journey through music connected to Scotland, both native and international, old and new.

This vibrant and soulful album is a tribute to the German composer Kurt Weill who was born in 1900. The accomplished and award-winning singer, lyricist, arranger and composer Lina Nyberg has assembled a Scandinavian all-star band that interprets her music and arrangements with grace and commitment.

A new record from Turnover arrives this fall. Myself in the Way is the band’s fifth full-length album, and it follows their first pause in consistent touring in almost 10 years. While the world was shut down, Turnover’s four bandmates spent time meditating, painting, volunteer firefighting, skateboarding, and working in state parks - deepening interests and growing roots in places they hadn’t been able to while living life on the road for so long.

It's hardly a surprise that a brief uplifting message from Carlos Santana accompanies "Spirits Dancing in the Flesh". What is unusual is the message's placement: just below the note dedicating the album to junior-welterweight boxing champion Julio Cesar Chavez. Now that, like the album itself, is yin and yang at its finest. It reached eighty-five in the Billboard 200.

For more than 20 years, Light in the Attic has shined a spotlight on some of music’s most unique – and often forgotten – voices. But reviving these long-out-of-print recordings is only half of the process. “We believe that an essential component of archival work, aside from simply honoring the music, is to seek ways in which to bring fresh perspectives, context, and reverence to the original artists and their work,” says LITA Founder and Co-Owner, Matt Sullivan.

Marco Tiso studied composition with G. Piazza at the Conservatorio di S. Cecilia in Rome, deepening the jazz language with E. Pieranunzi, G. Iacoucci and B. Tommaso, and arrangement and orchestration techniques with G. Gazzani.

Jody Sternberg and fellow Australian David Lewis team up with Melbourne pianist and master accompanist Mark Fitzgibbon to interpret an eclectic repertoire, mixing French chansons, jazz standards and original compositions.
