This book presents an efficient and robust method of modelling the magnetostatic properties of different technical elements, especially thin layers for magnetic sensors. The solutions presented utilise the principles of the method of moments. However, the principles have been developed both from the point of view of physical analyses as well as from the point of view of numerical optimisation. To enable cost-efficient use of the solutions for commercial applications in industry, the proposed method was implemented as a code optimised for use in the open-source OCTAVE environment. The scripts can be also used with MATLAB software, which is more user friendly, especially for less experienced users.

Although there is much literature on organisational learning, mathematical formalisation and computational simulation, there is no literature that uses mathematical modelling and simulation to represent and explore different facets of multilevel learning. Current-Mode digital circuits have been extensively analyzed and used since the early days of digital ICs. In particular, bipolar Current-Mode digital circuits emerged as an approach to realize digital circuits with the highest speed. Together with its speed performance, CMOS Current-Mode logic has been rediscovered to allow logic gates implementations which, in contrast to classical VLSI CMOS digital circuits, have the feature of low noise level generation. Thus, CMOS Current-Mode gates can be efficiently used inside analog and mixed-signal ICs, which require a low noise silicon environment. For these reasons, until today, many works and results have been published which reinforce the importance of Current-Mode digital circuits. In the topic of Current-Mode digital circuits, the authors spent a lot of effort in the last six years, and their original results highly enhanced both the modeling and the related design methodologies.

This textbook is aimed at providing the introductory knowledge on the subject to the undergraduate students studying mechanical and manufacturing engineering at most universities. Many of the universities prescribe a syllabus that contains both Design of Jigs and Fixtures, and Design of Press Tools in a single semester course. Keeping the above in mind, this book is designed in two parts. Part-I deals with Jigs and Fixtures and Part-II is earmarked exclusively for the study of Press Tools.
