Fret board aficionados, tone junkies and fans of hot stove blues guitar will be glad to hear the return of Seattle guitarist Jim Allchin, who is preaching to the choir on his third album Decisions, set for release in June of 2017. The 14 new tracks were recorded at the famed Blackbird Studio in Nashville by a production team led by Grammy-winning producer, drummer and songwriter Tom Hambridge. The group of A-list players involved also includes Michael Rhodes on bass, Reese Wynans on piano and Hammond B3, Pat Buchannan and Rob McNelly on guitar, and the “Heart Attack Horns,” led by Bill Bergman and Lee Thornburg. If this wasn’t enough fire power, Allchin and Hambridge recruited Niki Crawford, Wendy Moten, Seattle soul man Mycle Wastman, and international blues super star Keb’ Mo’ to join in on vocals, rounding out the all-star team.

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is an Australian singer, songwriter, record producer and music video director. She started her career as a singer in the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s in Adelaide. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album titled OnlySee in Australia, but it did not sell well. She moved to London, England, and provided lead vocals for the British duo Zero 7.

Daniel Pemberton is an Ivor Novello winning and multi-BAFTA nominated composer well known for embracing a wide range of musical mediums – from electronic to orchestral – throughout his work. After more than a decade establishing himself as one of the most inventive and experimental voices in British television – scoring countless Emmy and BAFTA award winning dramas and documentaries such as Complicit, Peep Show, Upstairs Downstairs, Desperate Romantics, Space Dive, Occupation and Hiroshima – Pemberton moved into the world of film with the period supernatural thriller The Awakening (2011). Ridley Scott hired the composer to score his feature The Counselor (2013) and The Vatican (2014). This work, alongside scores to other features such as Blood (2012), In Fear (2013) and Cuban Fury (2014), led him to be named ‘Discovery Of The Year’ at the prestigious World Soundtrack Awards 2014.

Wayward Sons may be a brand new band, but they come loaded with experience. Jason Anderson of Allmusic noted that "as often happens with highly anticipated follow-ups, Stigmata disappointed some fans with what some called a more restrained sound and lesser material" and criticized the singer Johan Liiva and the addition of the session drummer Peter Wildoer.
