Collected here in one edition are the complete Decca recordings of Antal Doráti and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. 18 CDs with spined wallets, original jackets. Highlights include: Performances of Bartok’s Suite No.1, 2 Pictures, Miraculous Mandarin and Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta – “Bartok was in his [Doráti’s] blood-stream”, wrote critic Robert Layton. And recordings of works by a trio of composers Doráti knew well and worked with: Strauss, Stravinsky and Copland.

Three CD collection. RPM Records is pleased to present the most detailed overview of the hitmaking career of Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels. Sockin' It to You features three CDs containing all five of their albums for Crewe plus all of the non-LP 45 releases, including one LP and several single sides making their CD debut. Disc One features the albums Take A Ride which includes the single hit, 'Jenny Take A Ride' and "Breakout" which features the hit singles, 'Devil with A Blue Dress', 'Little Latin Lupe Lu' and 'Breakout'. Disc Two features the album Sock It to Me and the singles 'Sock It to Me Baby' and 'Takin' All I Can Get'. Next comes the album "All Mitch Ryder Hits", a compilation set that featured one new track a version of the Motown hit for The Marvelettes, 'Too Many Fish in The Sea' and the vintage novelty song, 'Three Little Fishes'. We have not included the rest of the album as all of the tracks are already featured.

Like the city of Detroit itself, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra has had to deal with many difficulties, from disintegrating venues to financial crises. Through all of its trials and tribulations, the DSO has maintained a consistently high level of musicianship and technical skill, directly representative of the many distinguished conductors who have directed the group.

2009 collection from Soul greats The Spinners (known as The Detroit Spinners in Europe). The Spinners hailed from Detroit, had roots in '50s Doo Wop, and started out in the mid-'60s Motown scene, but they ultimately became known as the ultimate '70s Philly Soul vocal group. Famed producer Thom Bell mated their soulful harmony blend with elaborately orchestrated arrangements that were infectious but never overbearing. The result was a long string of huge hits throughout the '70s ("I'll Be Around", "Rubberband Man", "Could it Be I'm Falling in Love", and many more) that were definitive not only of their genre but of their era. The Unwritten Works Of Geoffrey, Etc. is the 1968 album by Whistler, Chaucer, Detroit & Greenhill. Originally released on MCA subsidiary Uni, this was reissued in 2006 by the Fallout label.
