Die Antwoord

Donker Mag (Afrikaans for: Dark Power) is the third studio album by South African hip hop and rave group Die Antwoord. It was released on 3 June 2014 by Zef Records. Following the release of "XP€N$IV $H1T", Die Antwoord set out on a brief tour across Europe from June to July. Soon after they began touring, snippets for a new single called "Cookie Thumper!", which was to be accompanied by a music video, were released. Around the release of their new single, Die Antwoord also announced the title of their third album, Donker Mag, which was released on 3 June 2014. The video For "Cookie Thumper!" was released on 18 June 2014 on Noisey's YouTube channel. The video has over 28 million views as of January 2017. On 20 May 2014, "Pitbull Terrier", the second music video from Donker Mag, was released on Die Antwoord's YouTube channel. The video has over 26 million views as of January 2017.

Ten$ion is the second studio album by South African hip-hop/rave group Die Antwoord. The album was released on the iTunes Store on 29 January 2012 and on CD on 7 February. The album was released on Die Antwoord's label Zef Recordz after leaving their previous label Interscope due to pressure on Die Antwoord to become "more generic". The album debuted at number 20 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Over the past decade Die Antwoord have become a household name, in part due to their off-centered live performances and stage presence, but mostly because of their unique blend of South African trip-hop mixed with electronic beats. Made By God will be a series of albums that showcase the man behind the masks turntable abilities. Chapter 1 is the first installment in the series and will be released Friday April 14th.

Along with her storied career as a burlesque dancer, model, designer, and writer, Dita Von Teese also occasionally works in the world of music. She has appeared in videos for acts such as Green Day, Marilyn Manson, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Monarchy, and Die Antwoord. Von Teese has also collaborated with the latter two acts, lending her whispery vocals to Die Antwoord's "Gucci Coochie" and Monarchy's "Disintegration" and cover of Blur's "Girls Against Boys." In 2016, she curated Soundtrack for Seduction, a compilation of sexy tracks that included Von Teese's version of "A Guy What Takes His Time" and three other songs performed by her.

An international cover girl who inflames the imagination of fashion gods and photographers? A lingerie designer and shrewd business woman? A lone wolf in the Los Angeles night whispering enigmatic confessions on a long forgotten answering machine? Alabaster face and cherry red lips, curves often outlined by a black satin sheath, Dita Von Teese sings about the power of seduction and the ecstasy of letting go in an album bearing her name, written and composed by Sébastien Tellier.

Met name in de context van immigratie en integratie wordt ‘de nationale identiteit’ naar voren geschoven als antwoord op publieke en politieke zorgen over gemeenschappelijkheid en maatschappelijke samenhang. Op deze manier dreigt nationale identiteit een politiek en beleidsmatig antwoord te worden voor een integratieprobleem, terwijl de vraag naar wie wij zijn en wat ons bindt in essentie een samenlevingsprobleem is.
