A superlative staging of Puccini’s Tosca by Italian opera producer Hugo de Ana brought to you from the world-famous Arena di Verona and complete with all the splendour that a Puccini opera demands! The popular tragedy is sung by a dream team cast of excellent singer-actors and conducted by long-established Arena di Verona conductor Daniel Oren.

This production from Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti Modena is conducted by Fabrizio Ventura. He has performed at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as well as the Arena di Verona and the Sydney Opera House. The cast is led Giacomo Prestia who has performed with some of the world’s greatest conductors including Abbado, Mehta, Muti, Gatti and Barenboim. He is supported by Mario Malagnini and Cellia Costea.

Previous volumes have dealt with themes of sin and redemption in country music – and this time around, the scope seems pushed even farther – partly because the music extends into the 70s, but also because the stylistic blend is even more amazing – as bigger-name singers mix with obscure artists, and major productions mingle with rare tracks from the indie world. Franco Battiato's new collection that traces the history of this artist in 63 tracks was released in 2018 via RCA Records.
