This land runs through Katherine Paul’s blood. And it called to her. In dreams she saw the river, her ancestors, and her home. When the land calls, you listen. And KP found herself far from her ancestral lands during a time of collective trauma, when the world was wounded and in need of healing. In 2020 she made the journey from Portland back to the Skagit River, back to the cedar trees that stand tall and shrouded in fog, back to the tide flats and the mountains, back to Swinomish.

GNOD, the ever-transient psychedelic musical unit from northern England with over 15 years and dozens of releases under their belt, return in 2024 with a recalibrated sound and a new sense of freedom. Spot Land’s five songs are tender and detailed, unfolding slowly with wistful guitar textures, brushed drums and interjections of lap steel, piano and kalimba.

Harold Land’s hard bop album “The Fox” was originally released in 1960, with Contemporary Records reissuing it in ‘69. Featuring Harold Land (tenor sax), Dupree Bolton (trumpet), Elmo Hope (piano), Herbie Lewis (bass), Frank Butler (drums) it was produced by David Axelrod. This new edition features remastered hi-res audio from the original tapes.

"Land Of The Free" was the fourth studio album of German Heavy Metal band Gamma Ray released in 1995 and the first one on which Kai Hansen took over the lead vocals. His unique powerful voice along with the atmosphere of hope and optimism and these fast and furious speeding riffs made sure to attract attention. This reissue features a newest remastering plus previously unreleased instrumentals, live in studio recordings, pre-production versions… etc.

VOICES OF THE LAND from composer Christina Rusnak guides listeners on a journey through America, celebrating its landscape and its people. Featuring the Juventas New Music Ensemble, the pieces on this album explore the emotions and experiences of settlers, miners, and indigenous people as they navigated the challenges, triumphs, and indignities of early American history.

Though influenced by the British Invasion, The Guess Who were purely Canadian rockers. The band scored a string of Top Ten hits in the late ’60s and early ’70s, including the psychedelic-romantic smash “These Eyes” and the riff-rocking anthem “American Woman”. The band was a huge success in the States and even performed at President Nixon’s inaugural ball (with the acerbic “American Woman” conspicuously omitted from the set list). Burton Cummings’ throaty baritone vocals and guitarist Randy Bachman’s theatrical riffs gave the band their versatile sound – and their rocking classics sound as vital today as they did when they were first released. This Dutton Vocalion’s reissue combines a pair albums from 1970 “American Woman” and “Share The Land”, remastered from the Original Master tapes by Michael J. Dutton.

In the Land of Grey and Pink is considered by many to be a pinnacle release from Caravan. The album contains an undeniable and decidedly European sense of humor and charm. In addition, this would mark the end of the band's premiere lineup. Co-founder David Sinclair would leave Caravan to form Matching Mole with Soft Machine drummer and vocalist Robert Wyatt in August of 1971.

On May 14, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band opened their Land of Hope & Dreams Tour in Manchester, England. Highlights from that first night are now available digitally as the “Land of Hope & Dreams” EP – including the title track, “Long Walk Home,” “My City of Ruins” and the band’s cover of Bob Dylan’s “Chimes of Freedom.”
