Saccades, AKA Nicholas Wood - one half of The KVB - returns with the announcement of his new album ‘Land of The Hearth,’ releasing on exciting new imprint Old World - New World Recordings on 25 August.

After two critically acclaimed albums, DEUS EX MACHINA and DARK WAVE, the French Bigband Initiative H is releasing a third opus; BROKEN LAND, modeled on Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite" or Moussorgsky's "Pictures of an Exhibition".

The jazz album "Search For the New Land features" five original compositions by trumpeter Lee Morgan. With an all star musical lineup, the album acquired number 16 on Billboard's Black Albums chart. Although it was recorded in 1964, the album was shelved for two years. "Search For the New Land" is recognized as one of Morgan's best recordings.

November sees the release of MERRIE LAND, the second album from The Good, The Bad & The Queen, a band comprising of Damon Albarn, Paul Simonon, Tony Allen and Simon Tong. The Good, The Bad & The Queen began life as the acclaimed 2007 album of the same name, a heartfelt tribute to London described by The Observer in a 5 star review as –“One of the most surprising and magical records for which Damon Albarn has ever been responsible”.

Recorded in Greece with an outstanding ensemble of Athenian jazz musicians, James Wylie makes his Rattle debut with an album of beautifully recorded and performed compositions that will delight fans of high-quality contemporary jazz.

Racking up record-breaking awards and nominations around the world, including multiple Golden Globe and Academy Award victories, La La Land from writer and director Damien Chazelle (Whiplash) stars Ryan Gosling as a Los Angeles jazz pianist who falls in love with an actress portrayed by Emma Stone. The two sing and dance their way through several numbers by Justin Hurwitz with lyrics by the Tony-nominated songwriting team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. In addition to the soundtrack and the score, composed and arranged by Hurwitz and performed by a 90-piece orchestra, this complete collection adds unreleased bonus tracks not included on the individual albums.
