To mark 60 years, Motown Unreleased 1969 boasts 60 tracks, all recorded in 1969 and left unheard – until now. The label’s heaviest hitters are all here, including Diana Ross and The Supremes with their rendition of the Ron Miller/Orlando Murden standard “For Once in My Life,” Gladys Knight and The Pips (“You Took Me This Far (Take Me All the Way)),” Jackson 5 (“What’s So Good About Goodbye”), and Marvin Gaye (“I’ll Take Care of Business”). Following the appearance of the official soundtrack to the remake of "The Lion King" on the platforms, Beyoncé announced the release of its own album, dedicated to an animated film. The singer, voiced the lioness Nala, will release the album "The Lion King: The Gift". The cover of The Gift features a pair of golden lions, one of which bites the other by the tail. In addition to Beyoncé, such giants of the industry as Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino (who got the role of Simba in the Lion King), 070 Shake, Farrell Williams, Wiz Kid and others participated in the recording of 14 tracks. JAY-Z and their daughter Beyoncé Blue Ivy Carter also appear in the tracklist: the singer's husband is listed in the performers of the song “Mood 4 Eva”, and Blue Ivy in Brown Skin Girl.

“Peace of Action” is the new release from Earl ‘Damu the Fudgemunk’ Davis' Def Pressé Editions x KPM project. The album is the second installment of the series and is entirely instrumental, with no guests or vocals. Earl Davis expressed his joy and pride in his second collaboration with KPM, which allowed him to manifest new ideas and experiment in music. He also noted that working on the album gave him the freedom to break away from his typical “calling card” and show another dimension in music. Earl Davis added that each song on the album is a scene that paints its own unique world and that music has the ability to take people's imagination to different places. Overall, “Peace of Action” is a blend of jazz and hip-hop elements, created using KPM's jazz catalog as a separate source of inspiration for Davis.
