“Peace of Action” is the new release from Earl ‘Damu the Fudgemunk’ Davis' Def Pressé Editions x KPM project. The album is the second installment of the series and is entirely instrumental, with no guests or vocals. Earl Davis expressed his joy and pride in his second collaboration with KPM, which allowed him to manifest new ideas and experiment in music. He also noted that working on the album gave him the freedom to break away from his typical “calling card” and show another dimension in music. Earl Davis added that each song on the album is a scene that paints its own unique world and that music has the ability to take people's imagination to different places. Overall, “Peace of Action” is a blend of jazz and hip-hop elements, created using KPM's jazz catalog as a separate source of inspiration for Davis.

The Penguin Guide to Jazz gives the album four stars out of four and describes is as being "almost as good as Colossus, with the ferocious abstractions of 'B Swift' and 'B Quick' contrasting with the methodical, almost surgical destruction of "Sonny Boy".
