Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972), fue un artista neerlandés conocido por sus grabados xilográficos, sus grabados al mezzotinto y sus dibujos, que experimentan con diversos métodos de mostrar espacios paradójicos y desafían a los modos habituales de representación.
