“Take It To The Vertical”, originally released by Redeye/Polydor Records Australia in 1992, was Deniz Tek’s first solo album. Recorded at historic SugarHill Studios in Houston, Texas, the album features Radio Birdman’s Chris Masuak on guitar and keyboards; and The Stooges’ Scott Asheton on drums. There are extensive liner notes, never before seen photos, and a bonus track that was not on the original release.

Sequence of Emotions is an album inspired by my journey in life, from choosing to be a mechanical engineer to becoming a jazz musician by tirelessly following my heart and passion in sound-making. The tracks are a cross-section of my life from 2013 to 2016, the period that I faced my demons by changing jobs, facing family with my decisions, making personal sacrifices and changing countries to come to New England Conservatory in Boston. Each track on this album is conceptualized by the dominant emotions and thoughts chosen from nine points of this period. With that, compositional elements are specifically chosen to reflect each instance of emotion and thought.

Ayşe Deniz Birdal (Istanbul, 1996) studied at the Istanbul University State Conservatory from the age of 13, after which she continued her studies with Julius Berger in Augsburg. She won the First Prize in the Rudolf Matz Strings Competition, and a Second Prize in the International Johan Andreas Stein Strings Competition, where she played her own composition Sky-Cut, among others.

This book has been prepared for all physicians. The distinguished authors in the book wrote their chapters by combining their scientific knowledge with their experiences.
