Follows the Scharer family - Ned, Sophie, Rowan and Sam from Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia national park - who have beaten off competition from around the world to secure the job as the wardens of Bardsey Island. Bardsey is a remote yet idyllic island almost two miles from the coast of the Llyn peninsula in north west Wales. It's the Scharers' chance to escape the busy, tech-filled existence that so many of us lead and embrace the 'simple life' as the new custodians - managing, renovating, and caring for the island whilst hoping to become a closer family unit in the process.

The Auckland Islands are an isolated archipelago of islands far south of New Zealand. They might seem bleak, but they are a surprising sanctuary for wildlife. In summer, hordes of giant sea lions descend upon a desolate beach, and testosterone-driven males begin bloody battles for mating rights. When the pregnant females return to give birth on the beach, chaos ensues. The pups are always in danger of being squashed by overly eager males. Some of the rarest penguins on the planet, the yellow-eyed penguins, are also breeding here and must constantly evade the huge brawling male sea lions.

Veteran British songwriter and guitar sage Michael Chapman ranks among the innovative midcentury English guitarists who transposed the atmosphere and syntax of the blues to a British context through reinvention and deconstruction rather than imitation. He has played with, among others Mick Ronson, Bridget St John, Elton John, Steve Gunn, Jack Rose, and Thurston Moore.

Seasons are finally coming to The Sims 4, at last bringing the series’ most beloved expansion content into bloom for its latest iteration. That means loads of opportunities to enjoy seasonal activities, holiday celebrations, and leave your Sims to suffer and freeze in the midst of horrifying snowstorms. (If you’re a digital sadist, which I most definitely am not.)
