Due to the distinct and doubtlessly one-of-a-kind DIARY sound, that's been accompanying us since their debut ‘Cholymelan’ in 1994, there's always this certain feeling of familiarity right from the first listening of a new DIARY piece.

The complete collection of Achim Reichel’s innovative avant-garde project in the early 1970s. The lavishly designed 10 CD box-set includes all five studio albums and almost five hours of rare and unreleased music, a new remix-album – Virtual Journey – as well as a hardcover book with the artist’s own liner notes. A lucky accident was the catalyst. In Hamburg in the early 70s, while playing with his new Akai X330D tape machine, Achim Reichel discovered he could build soundscapes of guitar echoes and add even more simultaneously. He spent hours in his room with headphones on, growing his orchestra of guitars. A.R. & Machines recorded five studio albums. Their debut, “Die grüne Reise”, – The Green Journey – was released in 1971 on tape cassette and vinyl, and was met with complete confusion, even from the music press, who had no genre-drawer to stick it into, and is a lasting Krautrock monument captured on tape.

Mystic Sound Records presents the debut album of a talented producer from Kazan, Tatarstan - Jai "Tartaria". There are a lot of rare ethnic samples in this album, related to the period of existence of Tartaria - the large civilization of ancient world that was located in the central part of modern Russia, such as old song that was recorded in the village and other folklore elements. It is alluring to follow the development of the album, because the first impression is something slavyanic-magic, like a shamanic circle uniting different tribes. And here flies in a ‘Mosquito’, and it all becomes quirky. The ritual energy inside of the gathering is splashing all out and around, touching the void. You can hear a variety of downtempo genres in the music of Jai, that are making strong impression all together.

iCon Zero is a revised presentation of the Wetton/Downes album and is a precursor to their iCon series of albums. It is essentially a collection of tracks mostly recorded in the late 1980s through the time of their brief reformation in 1990…

Four Ears are Bym Stempka and Curt Nolte, both children of Berlins underground-scene. If you add up the number of ears they posess between the two of them, you will suddenly understand the name of the project.
Bym Stempka has had great influence on German music-history. He was the founder of Flucht Nach Vorn (well known New Wave Underground outfit from the early eighties). Since 1980 he has been dj-ing in Berlin's famous clubs like ChaCha, Metropol, Glückstein, Tresor, Globus, WMF and many others.
