The Joker is the absolute all-time favorite opera among Croatians. A couple of years ago it celebrated its seven hundredth performance alone at the Zagreb National Theater. The Croatian Jakov Gotovac, one of the most trailblazing composers of the earlier Yugoslavia, premiered the opera in 1935. After its immediate success it toured through what was then the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, and today it continues to be a favorite selection for performance programs in the countries of the former Yugoslavia.

Dopo lo straordinario successo a Sanremo 2021 con il brano «Potevi fare di più» e i singoli «Ortica », « Psyco » e « Altalene « , Arisa è pronta a tornare con il nuovo album “Ero romantica”, contenente undici brani inediti. Una raccolta di testimonianze di giovani che fanno uso di eroina. “Ero una fanzine” nasce nel 2020 come autoproduzione. Il progetto prende vita dall’urgenza di raccontare la realtà dell’eroina nell’Italia contemporanea. Dopo vent’anni di numeri in calo, la curva delle morti per overdose da eroina è tornata a piegare verso l’alto. C’è chi dice che sia “tornata”, ma non è mai davvero sparita. È solo rimasta meno visibile, marginale, problema di quella fetta di popolazione che alla stampa non interessa. Oggi, invece, abita il quotidiano di sempre più persone. Eppure, mancano le parole per discuterne. Da un lato, il linguaggio utilizzato per narrare la sostanza è obsoleto, legato a scenari del secolo scorso che mal si adattano al presente. Dall’altro, i toni con cui viene narrata sono perlopiù scandalistici: “eroina” è diventata una parola mostruosa dietro cui si celano ignoranza e moralismi..
