Eternal Light

Elin is Universal Classics and Jazz's first artist to appear on the resurrected Heliodor label with this 2007 Baroque full length. Elin's crystal clear voice, with it's blend of tonal beauty and expressive intensity is the ideal instrument to reconnect modern listeners with Baroque music. 'Eternal Light' is conducted by Harry Christopher's, founder of hugely successful choral group the Sixteen. Elin is accompanied by Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

Bonny Light Horseman are Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson (Fruit Bats), and Josh Kaufman (Craig Finn, Josh Ritter, The National) and they release their self titled debut album via 37d03d Records. Produced by Josh Kaufman, Bonny Light Horseman finds the group reimagining and reinterpreting traditional songs and co-writing new ones based loosely on specific sources.

Eternal Rituals represents a heavier side of Junius, who constantly surprise album to album, and song to song with their unique touches and flourishes. While their EPs are mostly forgettable, their previous 2 full-length albums had a core sound to them that Junius extends to this new album and yet manages to carve out a unique identity for it with enough musical adventure to keep you engaged throughout its short 45 minute duration. Songs like The Queen's Constellation and A Mass for Metaphysicans are true delights to return to over and over. Where do they come up with these song and long album titles? Overall this is their career best album since their stunning debut 8 years ago, a moving and tragic paean to the theorist Immaneul Velikosky. Sometimes dreams, visions, fantasy worlds, stars and galaxies seem closer than the human reality… This is the main idea of the composition "So Far And So Near", and it has become the central idea of the Eternal Wanderers' album of the same name. The album contains 8 art/progressive/psychedelic rock compositions with total time 64 minutes. Many of them include the orchestral elements. Within the central idea of the album the compositions touch such topics as the beginning of the World ("And The World Will Be"), beauty lost in wars of all times and sadness that remains ("Mounds"), thoughts about the Man and Fate ("Thread Of Love"), hardly amenable to reason energy of light ("Energy Of Light"). The idea determines the mood of the music - from purely sad "And I Will Follow", solemn "And The World Will Be" to expressive "Energy Of Light" and "As You Wish, I Care Not".

Jeff Wootton is a 28 year old singer, lead guitarist and song writer from Manchester, England. Best known for his lead guitar work in the strange virtual band Gorillaz. In his first solo album Wootton plays all the instruments except the drums, which are played flawlessly by Gang Of Four skin beater Mark Heaney.
The dark dreamy psychedelic mood of the album is evident from the start of the first track "Sea Of Sound". As the name suggests, the sea of sound is created by Wootton’s layered fuzzy guitar and organ mix. It’s definitely a strong instrumental and a great start to a brilliant album…

Pendragon will release a brand new album, Love Over Fear, in February 2020. The new album will be released as a special edition, coming in a hardback book measuring 285mm x 285mm (like the band's recently released First 40 Years) and containing 3 CDs featuring the main album, an acoustic version with orchestral and extended versions and an instrumental version of the album. The artwork has been supplied by local Cornwall artists Liz Saddington.
