Evelyn Huber Inspire (2016)

Altamira is a soundtrack album by guitarist Mark Knopfler and percussionist Evelyn Glennie, released on on CD 22 April 2016 on EMI Records. The album contains music composed for the 2016 film Altamira, directed by Hugh Hudson. The film is a drama about the discovery of the Cave of Altamira starring Antonio Banderas and Rupert Everett. The idea is already good - the so valuable ones for our food and healthy spices are moved musically. The CD is extremely sound-nice, the harp fits excellently to to the wind instruments and the other Quadro Nuevo - members are often present, so that one, actually, almost from a product of this formation can talk. During a well-balanced spicy meal this had to go well-balanced spicy music always resonate in the background!

Natalia Makarova, one of the most important interpreters of the classical ballet repertoire in the twentieth century, has also had great success as a producer. Her staging of Swan Lake is based on the original choreography by Petipa and Ivanov, with additional choreography by the late Sir Frederick Ashton. Evelyn Hart and Peter Schaufuss dance the main roles in this studio recording. Makarova’s innovative interpretation presents the work as a story of perfect and eternal love. The main focus is on Siegfried’s love for Odette, her love for him, his unfaithfulness, for which she ultimately forgives him, and her self-sacrifice in going to her death with him in order to break the power of an evil curse.
