This only album by Finchley Boys is a pretty satisfying mix of blues rock and psychedelia. The guitarwork is strong and these songs all do their job very well…

Aaron Thomas is really something else. I stumbled on him while trolling though the pages of eMusic recently. Thomas is a singer-songwriter with a bit of a folk like flare accompanied by emotional lyrics. Although he is a bit aloof, as he only seems to have a myspace page, if I were a record label I would be all over his nuts like a squirrel looking for acorns.

Aaron Thomas is an Australian singer and songwriter who began writing and playing music about ten years ago. She has toured Australia and Spain and has played music festivals such as Popkomm (Berlin), CMJ (New York) and SXSW (Austin) with his first album Follow the Elephants. Currently resident in Madrid, has just completed recording their second album entitled "Made of Wood" with producer Valgeir Sigurdsson (Bjork, Bonnie Prince Billy, Ane Brun, Coco Rosie, Camille, Sam Amidon, Nico Muhly). Recorded in Madrid with his band and then with Aaron alone in Reykjavik, Iceland, is ready to be released worldwide in January 2010 and here in Spain at the end of October 2009.

Guadalupe Plata returns to the front page of the music in our country with the output of his fourth album, which, like the previous ones, takes as title the name of the group and the year of its publication. Since the release of its first LP in 2011, Úbeda's blues trio has shown great regularity by releasing the album every two years ('Guadalupe Plata 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017').
