Tears For Fears' fifth studio album, Raoul And The Kings of Spain, now comes expanded with seven bonus recordings including 'All Of The Angels', 'The Madness Of Roland', 'Queen Of Compromise', 'Until I Drown', 'War Of Attrition' and acoustic versions of 'Raoul And The Kings Of Spain' and 'Break It Down Again'. The album features a return by Oleta Adams, who duets with Roland Orzabal on the track 'Me and My Big Ideas'. Includes a picture booklet containing sleevenotes by Malcolm Dome, a new interview with Roland Orzabal and a track by track run-down.

The Las Vegas Story was possibly the most complete and unrushed Gun Club LP. Produced by Jeff Eyrich, this LP saw the band experiment more with covering show tunes like Gershwin's 'My Man's Gone Now' and a killer take on Pharaoh Sanders' 'The Creator Has A Master Plan'. Yet another raved about LP in the press, The Las Vegas Story was the icing on the cake in the Gun Clubs early carrier. We got to know music composer Vic Van De Reijt on his previous compilations (with his hundred favorite French, German and 'Suri-Vlame' hits) as a man with an omnivorous taste in music, who managed to forge well-known and obscure hits together into a beautiful whole. The fifties are central to this compilation album. An exciting job, because there are quite a few fifties collectors in circulation. In the accompanying booklet, Van de Reijt defends his choices, especially to opt for the original versions and why he did not choose a Dutch repertoire ('they simply couldn't compete with other countries'). The five CDs are divided into one with instrumental songs, one with male and one with female soloists, one rock and roll CD and, the best, a CD with novelty hits.
