2020 will see the release of FM's twelfth studio album, SYNCHRONIZED. To no one’s surprise, it is another top notch album that will keep the band’s status as one of the premiere melodic rock entities firmly in place.
Formed in London, England in 1984, FM secured a recording deal with Portrait/Epic later that year and released their debut album Indiscreet in 1986. They went on to release another four more studio albums before eventually disbanding in 1995. The band reunited in 2007 to headline the Firefest festival at Nottingham's Rock City. This appearance resulted in the 2010 release of the band's sixth studio album Metropolis featuring new guitarist Jim Kirkpatrick and FM continue to tour and release new material.
2024 release from the British AOR band. In 2007 - after a 12 year sabbatical - FM were persuaded to return to the stage for a 'one-off' headline performance at a sold-out Firefest IV at Nottingham Rock City. FM haven't stopped since… 2024 sees FM celebrate their 40th Anniversary with the release of the band's fourteenth studio album OLD HABITS DIE HARD. Vocalist, guitarist and founding member Steve Overland says, “the new album encompasses the best melodic elements of the band’s illustrious 40-year spanning career. We really looked at what made the most popular FM albums great and tried to focus on that,” says Steve about the new album Old Habits Die Hard."
AOR legends FM are back in business with their brand new opus simply entitled "Thirteen"…
Volume two of Collectables' Ultimate Christmas Album gathers more classic pop and rock holiday tunes, including the Beach Boys' "Little Saint Nick," Gene Autry's "Here Comes Santa Claus," and Diana Ross & the Supremes' "White Christmas." Most of this volume's best-known tracks are by traditional pop crooners, such as Dean Martin's "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!," Bing Crosby's "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," and Burl Ives' "Holly Jolly Christmas." However, less-familiar tracks like the Echelons' "A Christmas Long Ago (Jingle Jingle)," Augie Rios' "Donde Esta Santa Claus," and Barry Gordon's "Nuttin' for Christmas" prevent the collection from being too predictable. It's not exactly a straightforward holiday-hits compilation, but The Ultimate Christmas Album, Vol. 2 balances enough standards and obscure tunes to make it a unique collection.
The third album from AOR/Yacht Rock artist Page 99 where they explore the growing sounds of early 80s style music production. This is no imitation, but rather an album produced in every way in the model of the great early 80s music studios and producers.
