Operation Northwoods is a new band formed by four accomplished young musicians who have collaborated on innovative projects together for many years. Trumpeter Douglas Detrick and saxophonist Hashem Assadullahi first met while completing their graduate studies in Eugene, Oregon, and went on to collaborate on numerous projects, including Hashem's pub-rock band Safety Buffalo and Doug's award winning chamber-jazz crossover band, the Anywhen Ensemble.

Leopold and His Fiction are a rock band based in Austin, TX. The name comes from an uncompleted novel by frontman Daniel James; his songs are a melodic telling from the written endeavors of his youth. The fourth full-length from Leopold and His Fiction - Darling Destroyer (which now features Alexander "Z" Lynch on bass and vocals, Jeremy Holmsley on keyboards and vocals, and Mark Henne on drums), echoes that urgency with a savage yet soulful sound testifying to James' Detroit heritage. Throughout Darling Destroyer, Leopold and His Fiction reveal their gritty ingenuity by merging delicately crafted lyrics with blistering guitar work.

Tom Bailey, front man from The Thompson Twins, releases his debut solo album ‘Science Fiction’. Inspired by his return to the live stage in 2014, of SCIENCE FICTION, Tom Bailey comments, “I so much enjoyed playing concerts around the world over the last couple of years, that I began working behind the scenes on writing, recording and mixing the songs in this collection. I have concentrated on other areas of music for the past couple of decades – but I find it incredibly rewarding to be making pop music again. This Is…Cult Fiction Royale collects 47 original television and film themes from the '60s and '70s like "Theme from Space 1999," "Theme from the Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "Theme from Dirty Harry" and "Theme from Get Carter." Much of it is from the source material (directly from the films and shows themselves), while others are from the original masters. Many of these tracks are available elsewhere, but there are enough obscurities to entice collectors of the genre. Important notice!
