And Justice for None is the upcoming seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch. It is set to be released on May 18, 2018. The band had already completed recording of the album by December 31, 2016, however due to ongoing problems with their label Prospect Park, the album was delayed until 2018 after they reached negotiations with the label. After negotiations were reached in late 2017, they released the greatest hits compilation A Decade of Destruction and two new songs entitled "Trouble" and a cover of The Offspring song "Gone Away" recorded for the new album were included on the compilation, which will be featured on the deluxe version of the new album, which will also feature a different album cover for the deluxe edition.
“This is not a test,” vocalist Ivan Moody intones on “Full Circle,” one of the key tracks from Five Finger Death Punch’s appropriately titled eighth album, F8. It’s a song about previous civilizations destroying themselves, which is a fitting metaphor for a band that almost imploded in recent years under the weight of substance abuse. But guitarist Zoltan Bathory has said that sobriety prevailed for the recording of the album, bringing sharp focus to tracks like the crushing “This Is War”—one of the heaviest songs in FFDP’s ever-expanding repertoire. Elsewhere, lead single “Inside Out” distills the Las Vegas-based crew’s twin strengths of anthemic choruses and thudding riffs into a beefy metallic groove, complete with radio-ready bonus version. Meanwhile, “Living the Dream” name-checks a litany of superheroes and fictional royalty in the service of social commentary. All told, it’s a triumphant return for a band that could’ve easily fallen by the wayside.
Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse Five Finger Death Punch release 'AfterLIfe', their highly anticipated new studio album. Having amassed over 8 billion streams, the band's highly anticipated follow-up to their 2020 release 'F8', which debuted at no. 1 on rock charts around the world with Top 10 mainstream chart debuts in the UK, USA, Austria, Australia, Canada, Finland, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and more, implores fans to fight for their rights to be unapologetic and straightforward about their opinions. The song 'IOU' questions if it's better to serve in heaven or reign in hell, giving listeners an introspective look at what societal pressures to back down on their viewpoints could result in.
