Freakish Fiction

The obvious inspiration for Freakish Fiction is EC comics. If you don’t know these comics from the 1950s, you should! They’re some of the greatest, most well-regarded comics that have ever been created. They mostly did horror, suspense, sci-fi, war and humor comics, with no recurring characters. No superheroes. Each issue contained three short stories that were introduced by hosts such as the Crypt Keeper or the Vault Keeper
