We love Jeff Goldblum for his iconic roles in things like Jurassic Park and Thor: Ragnarok, but there’s more to the man than halting line delivery and quirky characters. An accomplished pianist, he’s been performing at jazz clubs around Los Angeles and New York City with his band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, since the ’90s. Now, he’s finally ready to share his debut album, The Capitol Studios Sessions, on November 9th.

This release contains the complete 1956 studio sessions by the Erroll Garner Trio! Includes the complete original Columbia albums The Most Happy Piano, The One and Only Erroll Garner, He's Here! He's Gone! He's Garner!, and Garner Encores in Hi-Fi. Most of this music appears here on CD for the first time ever, and in their original recording order. All of the other tunes from these albums (which contained some trio tracks from previous sessions) have been added here as bonus tracks.

A fine compilation of 1965-73 BBC performances, the majority of the tracks hailing from 1965-67, although some are drawn from 1970 and 1973. As one of the best live bands ever, the Who as expected come through pretty well in the live-in-the-studio environment, although the arrangements usually stick close to the records. Most of the songs were done by the group for studio releases as well, but there are a few covers that they never put on their albums or singles at the time, making this essential for the fan. Those numbers include the obscure James Brown tune "Just You and Me, Darling," "Dancing in the Street," ""Good Lovin'," and "Leaving Here" (although a mid-1960s studio version of that last song was eventually released).
