WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the shark thriller The Meg. The album features the film’s original music composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, Kingdom of Heaven, Unstoppable, Man on Fire). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 3 and will be available to download on Amazon. The Meg is directed by Jon Turteltaub and stars Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, Rainn Wilson, Ruby Rose, Winston Chao, Page Kennedy, Jessica McNamee, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Robert Taylor and Sophia Shuya Cai. The movie is based on Steve Alten’s novel MEG: A Novel of Deep Terror and centers on an international underwater observation program that is under attack by an unknown danger with its deep-sea submersible disabled and trapped at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The thriller will be released in theaters nationwide on August 10 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Jez is just 15 and already 17 years Meg Meg's voice is crazy beautiful and sounds great. The story of how the two first met as infants , is very amusing. Read for yourself below. The first joint appearance took place at Pier 2 Bremen in May. The excitement was huge , but the performance was awesome and the feedback from the audience just terrific. Meg Tennant’s love of song was awakened early. Her childhood home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was filled with music, and after the obligatory piano-lesson foundation, she acquired her first guitar at age sixteen. The song-writing began in earnest then, and within two years she was frequenting the open mic stages in Toronto, while living in a home-made houseboat on the Island.

Albrecht Mendelssohn-Bartholdy was the grandson of Felix Mendelssohn. He was also a polymathic intellectual – a prestigious jurist, political scientist, and one of Germany’s observers to the Treaty of Versailles negotiations in 1919. Conscious of his heritage he also wrote songs, taking texts from Eichendorff, Goethe, Heine and the folk collection Des Knaben Wunderhorn, as had Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn. These ardent love songs were inspired by his student Magdalene ‘Lena’ Schoch who, soon after her graduation, became the composer’s indispensable and trusted colleague and confidante.

Nashville-born, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Meg Myers makes her full-length debut with 2015's Sorry. The album comes on the heels of her two well-received EPs, 2013's Daughter in the Choir and 2014's Make a Shadow. As with those releases, Sorry once again finds Myers collaborating with longtime producer Dr. Rosen Rosen. Together, they craft moody, electronic-tinged rock anthems centered on Myers' yearning, passionate vocals. While Myers' distinctive brand of dark pop fits nicely next to contemporaries like Lorde and Florence + the Machine, Sorry also brings to mind the work of alternative rock-era icons like Sinéad O'Connor and Garbage. Included on Sorry is the urgent '90s grunge-influenced single "Lemon Eyes."
