Il Kinostudio “Vecchia Albania”, (oggi sede del Ministero della Cultura albanese), è stato inaugurato a Tirana nel 1952. In questo saggio Gëzim Qendro affronta in modo multidisciplinare ed interdisciplinare il tema singolare del significato della presenza massiccia di codici simbolici religiosi in un edificio pubblico, progettato in un Paese marxista (l’URSS), realizzato in un altro Paese marxista (l’Albania) e destinato ad essere sede dell’industria cinematografica albanese, una macchina di propaganda del regime. Un edificio che doveva, perciò, essere emblematico della nuova mentalità, della nuova epoca, quindi anche del suo laicismo e anzi, meglio, del suo ateismo..

Blige, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox, Charles Aznavour, Mylène Farmer, Shaggy, Melody Gardot, Gashi and more. The Duets album will also include the brand new, never-before-released song, “September” with Italian icon Zucchero, produced by Sting himself and mixed by 4-time Grammy Award winner Robert Orton.All songs have been remastered by Gene Grimaldi at Oasis Mastering, Los Angeles, United States.

Ten-year-old Nori (Val Maloku) and his father Gezim (Astrit Kabashi) roam the streets of Kosovo selling cigarettes and barely earning a living. Only a few years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Gezim is lured west to Germany, leaving his son behind in search of a new life. Feeling deserted and desperate to claim some sense of stability, Nori embarks on a dangerous journey to Germany in search of his father. His tenacity, resilience, and sheer grit must be enough to guide him.
