Midwest psychedelic warriors Bump let their freak flags fly high on this previously unreleased gem. The Bump (as they were originally known) formed in 1969 out of the same wild Detroit scene that birthed the MC5 and Stooges. Bump’s music may have been less confrontational than some of the other Detroit bands, but they make up for it in sheer lysergic exuberance.
Their music is prime garage/psych of the era, and it didn’t take long for some in the local scene to take a chance on them. This would be in the form of a “conglomerate” who called themselves Pioneer. Pioneer provided the studio, equipment, rehearsal space, management, and record label for the guys…

After well over 60 album releases with his bands and projects such as: Seven Steps To The Green Door, Toxic Smile, Cyril, Manuel Schmid & Marek Arnold, as a member of the German art rock legends Stern-Combo Meißen and internationally Bands like UPF, Flaming Row or Damanek, as well as a guest of established projects like The Samurai of Prog, Melanie Mau & Martin Schnella, Argos, Subsignal or Southern Empire are presented by the German saxophonist, keyboarder and producer Marek Arnold with the participation of many international guest stars the progressive rock scene - his first solo album.
It was clear from the start that this album should reflect the full stylistic diversity that always played a role in the compositions for Marek's bands…

Scottish pop group, formed in Edinburgh in 1973 by two former members (David Paton & Billy Lyall) of the early Bay City Rollers. Their biggest hits were "Magic", "January", "Call Me Round" and "Just A Smile", all of them in 1974, and 1975. They worked closely with Alan Parsons, who produced much of their material. Three of them (David Paton, Ian Bairnson & Stuart Tosh) contributed also The Alan Parsons Project, and Paton & Bairnson played also on Kate Bush's two first albums 'The Kick Inside' (1978) and 'Lionheart' (1978). As we approach the 40th anniversary of Pilot's debut album, David Paton, Ian Bairnson, and Stuart Tosh have reunited as Pilot. As a first project out of the gate, it is only fitting that David and Ian would turn to The Alan Parsons Project.
