Swing Republic are a Danish Electro swing duo, specialising in Electro-Blues and Vintage Remix fronted by producer Per Ebdrup and vocalist Karina Kappel. Formed in 2005, the duo have released a number of Albums and Singles on the record label Freshly Squeezed music, going onto appear at club night 'White Mink'. The Doors mark the moment when the American rock underground of the 1960s came crashing into the mainstream. The group's massive influence on the course of rock music may been overshadowed by decades of lionization of their late lead singer Jim Morrison, whose early death wound up being a pivotal part of their legacy. He seemed to loom larger in his afterlife than he did when he roamed the earth, his posthumous popularity cresting in the '80s as the Doors returned to radio airwaves in the wake of their magnum opus "The End" soundtracking pivotal moments in Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now.

This three LP Record Store Day version of this Doors' live album features the Doors' first night of a two night stand at the Aquarius Theatre on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California. Limited to 8,500 copies. This vinyl release is an entirely new mix than ever before issued. Issued on 180 gram clear vinyl, housed in trifold jacket with classic white paper & plastic polylined inner sleeves.Runout details: everything is hand etched on each side.

This is Gordon's first ever live album and was recorded at Oxford Polytechnic on 9th March 1979,by the RAK Mobile. Band members include the legendary John Gustafson on bass, whose past bands include The Mersey Beats,The Big Three and Roxy Music, also on drums was Ian Mosley who went on to join Marillion. The others players include Rob Edwards, Eddy Spence and the lovely Shirley Roden who's voice is beautiful and smooth. It's the gifted playing of Gordon that shines through the brightest, the best example can be found on Catwalk Blues. A guitaring experience from those exciting days of the seventies with the exceptional talent of Gordon Giltrap. This Esoteric Recordings edition is newly remastered from the original tapes and also features a lavishly illustrated booklet with new essay and interview with Gordon Giltrap.
