New territory here for Richie. Instead of a guest laden record, he's opted for a steady trio this time around, although he fleshes out the sound himself, with a few different instruments. Opener Crashing Apps also brings something new, some 7 string crunch. It's a pleasantly aggressive track, and works great to start things off. Next up is the albums best, Eurotop, an upbeat piece that brings Tribal Tech to mind at points. Great melodies on this one. The title track features bassist Frans Vollink, who returns from Richie's last record, and was his cohort from One Spirit. Sol 51 is a writing contribution from drummer Niels Voskuil, who will be releasing a solo record in 2018.

Three years ago, bassist Lorenzo Feliciati met guitarist Richard Hallebeek and drummer Niels Voskuil to perform at the 2017 North Sea Jazz Festival. The trio kept in touch and soon began collaborating on an album. Now that project has come to fruition with Bumerang, an album recorded in 2018 and 2019 that blends jazz and rock in compositions written by all three members.

Ever since he was given a pair of drum sticks at a very tender age, resulting in the all-too-classic scenario of pots and pans assembled for a make-shift drum kit, Jaan Wessman's life has been a continuous adventure in music. Starting out as a drummer with his first band, Pincer, Wessman soon picked up the electric guitar and became fast interested in all things to do with strings. A man of many musical talents, Jaan's interest in stuff you can either or strum or hit only grew. And so grew the reputation of a boy who's only interest was to make the music sound good, regardless of the genre.
