Haunted Hill

From the Demon Cat that stalks the Washington crypt to the restless spirit of John Quincy Adams in Statuary Hall, it is no wonder that in 1898 the Philadelphia Press declared the Capitol to be the most thoroughly haunted building in the world. Yet there are as many ghosts in the neighborhood as there are beneath the dome.

The plot centers around The Crain family which consists of a mother, father and five children that temporarily move into the Hill House mansion in 1992. The intention is to renovate the sprawling home and then sell it for a profit in effort to build their very own dream house. Soon after moving into Hill House, they begin to experience increasing paranormal activity that results in a tragic loss and the family fleeing from the house.

An ambitious and lovingly compiled 3 CD box set for fans of obscure 60s vintage Halloween themed novelty rock 'n' roll. While the 98 tracks of this box set are mostly from the 60's in origin, there is a decent sampling of late 50's material as well. The set also contains audio from horror movie trailers or dialogue snippets.
