High School by Tegan Quin

She was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and knew from a young age she wanted to make music (despite a brief dabble in construction management after high school). Ria released her first EP, Between the Bad, in 2009 and her debut album, Under Your Skin, in 2011, but her career really kicked off following the release of her single “Clothes Off” from her 2016 self-titled album. Fun fact: Ria paid for her own radio promotion, and it paid off a Sony rep heard the song and Ria was signed on the spot. It went on to be nominated for “Single of the Year” at the 2016 JUNO Awards. Her songs have since dominated the airwaves and she recently dropped by The Social to talk about her EP, My Love.
