Barely a year after Stereophonics last no. 1 album 'Kind', 'Phonics frontman Kelly Jones releases this 21-track collection featuring reinterpretations/re-workings of 18 Stereophonics tracks (classics and deep cuts), plus two songs from Kelly's 2007 solo album 'Only the Names Have Been Changed' and an emotional take on Kris Kristofferson's timeless classic, 'Help Me Make It Through the Night'.

As the Louisville, Kentucky noise rock trio Young Widows scaled back their activity, guitarist/vocalist Evan Patterson created an ever-evolving solo project under the moniker of Jaye Jayle that explored the more abstract realms of the American singer-songwriter process. The name had two meanings. First and foremost, it conjured the image of a bluebird locked in a cage. For Patterson, that image translated into being trapped with the blues and mired in depression.

Digitally remastered and expanded edition including one bonus track. Cliff Dawson was the lead singer for a band called Pleasure House of Detention which then went on to change it's name to Zenith.

After a five year break the songwriting duo Jazzamor publishes a new album. Seven new songs, two cover versions and four newly mastered songs from recent EPs.

Am Weary, Don't Let Me Rest' is Icelandic composer Snorri Hallgrímsson's sophomore LP and it arrives almost five years to the date after his critically acclaimed debut Orbit. A recurring theme on the album is the constant struggle between blissful ignorance and painful awareness.

On this accessible set of romance-themed songs, veteran Chicago blues vocalist Deitra Farr offers dynamic interpretations that frequently dabble in pop and soul. Standout tracks include the melancholy, gospel-tinged tune "Signs, Signals, and Warnings" and the emotive ballad "My Love for You", both of which highlight Farr's deep, expressive voice.

Holly Cole explores a number of styles on this, her second album. Adding pop, blues, country and a French ballad to her standard, low-key jazz, Cole demonstrates that not only does she have impeccable taste, but she has the talent to make all of the material sound convincing. On "Get Out Of Town," pianist Aaron Davis gets up while playing and places one of his hands over the piano string while continuing to play with the other. This damped-string effect is an extremely interesting counterpoint to Cole's idiosyncratic, sexy style. This is a flat-out killer record, an all-time audiophile favorite.

The Eastern North Carolina Sacred Soul all stars, Dedicated Men of Zion are back with the follow up to their critically acclaimed, 2020 debut album, Can't Turn Me Around. The Devil Don't Like It picks up where we last heard DMZ, blending traditional sacred soul offerings with the fire and passion of a touring outfit. Backed by the Sacred Soul Sound Section and produced by Bible & Tire founder, Bruce Watson, these songs are presented just as they should be, with a precision of sound and style but as raw as the original recordings demand. These men did not come to play, they came to work for the Lord.
