"Red & Black Light" is an ode to the woman of today and her founding and fundamental role in hoping for a better future. Centred on an aesthetic that's more contemporary, more electro (or even pop), this album is made up of Ibrahim's compositions, plus one song from today's diva Beyonce. Recorded in France in Ivry-sur-Seine with Eric Legnini (keyboards), François Delporte (guitar) and Stephane Galland (drums), this album is above all a desire to represent the importance and necessarily complex nature of things and persons that are essential.
Ibrahim selected his most important concerts to offer them to his public in the form of several objects. 10 years, a thousand concerts and dozens of countries crossed later, it was important for him to keep a lasting track!

On November 6, 2020, the day after his 40th birthday, musician and composer Ibrahim Maalouf unveiled his 12th studio album entitled "40 Melodies" in reference to his 40 candles. The album is a complete departure from the artist's previous projects as for the first time in his 15-year discography, Ibrahim offers an intimate duo with his friend and collaborator of over 10 years, Belgian guitarist François Delporte. The duo revisit Ibrahim's melodies that have left their mark on the music scene, both on his albums and his soundtracks, as well as a few previously unreleased tracks. All of this with the appearance of a host of prestigious surprise guests (Sting, Matthieu Chedid, Marcus Miller, Alfredo Rodriguez, Richard Bona, Trilok Gurtu, Hüsnü Senlendrici, Jon Batiste, Arturo Sandoval, and many others). Ibrahim thus returns to his origins and to the essentials: a trumpet, a guitar and 40 melodies, to celebrate his 40th birthday.
On December 14, 2016 Ibrahim Maalouf occurs for nearly 4 hours in Paris in a AccorHotels Arena sold out to celebrate his 10 years of touring. Surrounded by its historical group, a classical orchestra, a choir of nearly 100 children as well as a dozen surprise guests (-M-, Amadou & Mariam, Soprano, Tryo, LEJ, Hiba Tawaji,…) He performed songs from his eight studio albums in front of more of 17 000 people.
