The J.B.'s - Doing It to Death (1973/1988)

Gimme Your Hand, J-B!: The Godfather & Sons, Sisters & Brothers is a Japan-only compilation CD released in 1989. It consists of different artists who were part of the James Brown's family of artists, thus the reason for its title suggesting Brown gave everyone a hand in assistance to make some new music. This is from a CD released in Japan on 28 February, 2003 by P-Vine.

The J.B.'s (sometimes punctuated The JB's or The J.B.s) was the name of James Brown's band from 1970 through the early 1980s. "Doing It to Death" is an album by The J.B.'s, released in 1973 by People Records. The album includes a ten-minute version of the #1 R&B hit "Doing It to Death", which is led by Danny Ray's introduction to simulate his MC in concerts.

J.B.O. zollen der musikalischen deutschen Vita Tribut - natürlich auf ihre ganz eigene Art und Weise - mit dem neuen Album "Deutsche Vita". In Songs wie dem "Alles Nur Geklaut" oder auch "Wickie" kommt ihre eigene lyrische Handschrift zu Tage und ihr gewohnter Textwitz zeigt sich auch bei dem Cover "Wer Ist Der Fahrer" (Orignaltitel: Carbonara / Spliff) oder auch dem Klassiker "Du Hast Dein Smartphone Vergessen" (Originaltitel: Du Hast Den Farbfilm Vergessen" / Nina Hagen).

Funky Good Time: The Anthology is a 2CD compilation by The J.B.'s released on 28 February, 1995. The J.B.'s were James Brown's backing band, who performed and released songs under numerous names, including Fred Wesley & The J.B.'s, Maceo & The Macks, and The Last Word. This comp compiles some of the best, including in full length versions that were rare or previously unreleased in this form. This was released by Polydor Chronicles.
