Jeffrey Archer's The Clifton Chronicles

Containing over six decades of dramatic storylines, touching moments and humorous encounters from the world's longest-running radio drama, The Ambridge Chronicles is packed with tales from the lives of characters past and present; of marriages and births, loves and losses, triumph and disaster, and charming vignettes of village life.

This is the second in the trilogy published to celebrate the forthcoming 50th anniversary of "The Archers". This book follows the fortunes of the next generation of "The Archers", as Dan and Doris's grandchildren search for happiness and love in the changing world of the 1970s and 80s.

Tells the story of "The Archers" from the first broadcast in 1951, the year of the Festival of Britain.

Jeffrey McFadden is a Canadian guitarist. He won a silver medal at the Guitar Foundation of America Competition in 1992, as well as a prize in the Great Lakes Guitar Competition in 1993. McFadden was the first graduate of the Doctor of Musical Arts program at the University of Toronto, where his principal teacher was Norbert Kraft. As an Eaton fellow, McFadden finished his dissertation in 2010, and it was adapted as Fretboard Harmony: Common-Practice Harmony on the Guitar, published by Les Productions d’Oz. McFadden received the 2012 City of Hamilton Arts Award for music. He founded the Sauble Beach Guitar Festival, of which he is the artistic director, and he is the head of guitar studies and associate professor at the University of Toronto. As a performer, McFadden has toured Canada, the United States, and Europe, and he has performed at many international music festivals. Since 1996, he has recorded for Naxos.

Chronicles: 60 years of The Chieftains, is a stunning career retrospective featuring tracks from across the band’s discography, from their first album Chieftains 1 through their most recent studio album Voice of Ages. Includes collaborations with The Rolling Stones, Diana Krall, Alison Krauss, Van Morrison and Sinéad O’Connor, and previously unreleased recordings from Live at The Royal Albert Hall, Live at The Cambridge Folk Festival, and footage and recordings from the BBC and RTÉ archives.

Jeffrey Alexander and his associated groups reach back to that magical Terrastock era of the '90s: booking fests and shows, sharing stages, studios and vans with the (should be) most venerated and celebrated of those more pure years: Tom Rapp, Ghost (Japan), Marissa Nadler, Bridget St. John, Flying Saucer Attack, and too many more to mention. Alexander has been a member of Jackie-O Motherfucker, The Iditarod, and Black Forest/Black Sea, among others.

In September of 2024 Jeffrey Foucault will release THE UNIVERSAL FIRE (Fluff & Gravy, 9/6/24), his first album of entirely new material since 2018. A series of high-voltage performances cut live in one room, the album is both a working wake – Foucault lost his best friend and drummer Billy Conway, to cancer in 2021 – and a meditation on the nature of beauty, artifact, and loss. Augmenting Foucault's all-star band with members of Calexico and Bon Iver (drummer John Convertino and producer/saxophonist Mike Lewis) THE UNIVERSAL FIRE sets Conway’s death against the massive 2008 fire at the Universal Studios lot in California that destroyed the master recordings of some of our bedrock American music, to interrogate ideas about mortality, legacy, meaning, and calling.
