Russell Morris redefined himself and the Australian Blues genre in 2013 with the release of the landmark album ‘Sharkmouth’. The stories, people and events of our collective history would see Russell collect the ARIA for Best Blues & Roots Album. He followed this success in 2014 with ‘Van Diemen’s Land’; an album whose panorama spanned colonial horrors to WW2 bombers and Japanese labour camps; dramas on river and sea and character portraits from Birdsville to Kings Cross. It went on to receive another ARIA nomination for Best Blues & Roots Album & win multiple Australian music awards. In 2016, Russell completed his trilogy with the release of ‘Red Dirt, Red Heart’; filled with tales of bushrangers, jails, desert road trips and indigenous heroes. Again he collected the ARIA for Best Blues & Roots Album. Ghosts & Legends: Songs From The Blues Trilogy is a personally curated album of songs from Russell’s multi-award winning blues trilogy.

Classical and jazz pianist and composer, Friedrich Gulda was one of Austria's premiere pianists. Born in Vienna in 1930, Gulda started piano lessons at the age of seven. When he was 12, he enrolled in the Vienna Music Academy, and four years later received first place in the Geneva International Music Festival. In 1949, Gulda toured Europe and South America, earning international acclaim for his treatments of Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, and the following year he successfully debuted at Carnegie Hall. Gulda became more involved in jazz from 1951 on, when he improvised with Dizzy Gillespie following a performance with the Chicago Symphony.

Russell Morris is one of Australia's most enduring singers. A major pop star in the late '60s, he went on to become one of the country's first singer/songwriters. Both ends of his career feature predominantly in the soundtrack to the movie The Dish. Morris' career started in September 1966 with the formation of the Melbourne group Somebody's Image, which rose to prominence with a local hit version of the Joe South song "Hush." Morris was convinced to leave Somebody's Image for a solo career. His manager/producer, local music identity Ian Meldrum, spent unprecedented hours and money to create a seven-minute production extravaganza around a song called "The Real Thing."

Rhythm & Blues was not recognised as a distinct musical genre until the late 1940s and these CDs from the middle of that decade reflect the musical taste of the black population of the United States as it moved away from country blues towards a commercial, dance-oriented fusion of jazz and blues that came to be known as jump blues.

A contemporary pop spin on feel-good, windows-down country, "Hero" is the debut studio album from Maren Morris. The Texas native cut her teeth writing songs for Tim McGraw and Kelly Clarkson, but her fresh perspectives and knack for radio-ready pop hooks caught the attention of executives in Nashville, and earned her comparisons to crossover stars such as Sheryl Crow and Kacey Musgraves. The songs that are new for HERO Deluxe, “Bummin' Cigarettes”, “Space” and “Company You Keep”, all co-written by Morris, will be familiar to fans who have attended Morris' sold out headlining HERO Tour 2017 as Morris has performed all three songs each night from the stage.

"The Usual Suspects" is the 9th solo album of Joe Lynn Turner released in Japan in 2005. From its entire start to finish, Turner’s dominant and spine-tingling vocals succeed in capturing your attention while leaving you mesmerized and begging for more. Combine these vocals with an incredibly talented band - which includes guitarists Karl Cochran (Ace Frehley / Voodooland) and the always amazing Al Pitrelli, bassist David Z (Trans Siberian Orchestra / Joan Jett), Paul Morris (Rainbow / Doro Pesch) on keyboards and John O’Reilly (Trans Siberian Orchestra / Rainbow) behind the skins - and no doubt, you are getting an absolute Hard Rock/AOR masterpiece!
