Owen Pallett is Baroque Indie Rock composer who smoothly transitioned from violin to arranging to remixing to solo productions as Final Fantasy and his own name. "In Conflict" was written and produced by Pallett, recorded with the core rhythm section of Robbie Gordon and Matt Smith, and features contributions from Brian Eno and The Czech FILMharmonic Orchestra, amongst others. In Conflict is full of love songs more specifically, songs about liminal states and our loved ones locked in battle with them. Pallett was recently nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score, alongside Arcade Fire for their work on the soundtrack to Spike Jonze's Her.

As a conductor, curator and arranger, Robert Ames has been a key exchange agent between the classical tradition and contemporary music. co-Founding the London Contemporary Orchestra fresh out of the Royal Academy of Music, Robert went on to work like; conducting Jonny Greenwood’s Oscar Nominated score for the film Phantom Thread , strings for Frank Ocean’s Blonde, arranging and conducting shows for Little Simz and Sigur Ros frontman Jónsi, as well as a longstanding relationship with composer Actress, producing and writing on on his 2020 album Karma and Desire.

Nashville’s Hammock follows up 2017’s critically-acclaimed Mysterium with Universalis, the second installment of a planned three-album series. While Mysterium took listeners down a horizontal path that explored themes of death and grief, Universalis begins a vertical, upward movement back toward the light.

The Nashville duo Hammock – celebrated by Pitchfork, NPR, the BBC, The Atlantic, and Ricky Gervais – returns on August 25 with Mysterium, the band's eighth album since its founding in 2003.

Prolific Vancouver-based singer/composer Ian William Craig returns with a gorgeous new LP of material comissioned to soundtrack the computer game Magnesium 173. Whilst functioning as a score, ‘Music for Magnesium_173’ is far from being a set of short cues cues or lesser material. Released on double vinyl and digital formats, the record comprises a set of twelve bold and immersive pieces – the majority clocking in between 5-10 minutes in length and totalling 80 minutes of new music.
