Multi-Platinum-selling singer/songwriter, Jordan Davis, releases his new EP, "Buy Dirt". Produced by Paul DiGiovanni, Buy Dirt is Davis’ eight-song follow-up to last year’s self-titled EP and his debut album Home State. Davis co-wrote every song on the EP except for the John Prine inspired “Blow Up Your TV,” who is a major influence on Davis and his music. As a husband and new father, Davis finds himself in a different place in his life, and the songs reflect it. Davis stakes his claim as a country innovator, both expanding and modernizing his sound without abandoning his love for the classics.

The first disc features Little Milton and his country and gospel-infused brand of guitar blues, highlighted by the nearly 20-minute "Slow Blues Medley." Milton is a fine player, and the warm, full guitar tone he gets makes each cut in his set a delight. The second disc collects six-song sets from both McClain and Reverend Raven.

Recorded live at the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western Michigan University. The stellar band for the occasion was comprised of pianist Ellis Marsalis, bassist Reginald Veal, and drummer Ralph Peterson. From the thrilling opening crawl through 'Tin Roof Blues' to a strutting 'Sesame Street Theme' with some plunger mute magic all the way to the appropriately nostalgic 'Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans' closer, this recording gives the listener a glimpse of the captivating, real and true soul and spirit of Delfeayo Marsalis.
