Singer/Songwriter Juliet Lawson’s album, ‘Boo’, was released on the Sovereign label in the UK in 1972. The album was the confident debut of a young British artist and featured twelve of Lawson’s own compositions. In the same wave of early 1970s English singer-songwriters such as Nick Drake, Vashti Bunyan and Christine McVie, and despite being described at the time as ‘Britain’s answer to Joni Mitchell’, ‘Boo’ was to prove her only major label release with limited commercial success. Over the next 50 years the album’s reputation has slowly grown and is today an expensive and collectible item. ‘Boo’ is presented here in its entirety. This release comes with two additional early demo tracks produced by ex-Yardbirds founder Paul Samwell-Smith, who also produced Carly Simon and Cat Stevens. // Includes interview with Juliet Lawson and exclusive photography.

The Very Best of Phoebe Snow Review by Richie Unterberger
This is an improvement on the similarly titled The Best of Phoebe Snow, from the early 1980s, in that it has virtually everything from the earlier anthology, but has sixteen songs, where the previous compilation has but ten. The emphasis is still on her mid-to-late-1970s work with Columbia, though it does include some tracks from other labels and eras, most importantly the mid-1970s hit "Poetry Man." As a token representation, there's a cut from a 1989 album and a live 1991 performance from another. There are also previously unreleased live performances of "Harpo's Blues" and Sam Cooke's "Good Times" (here rather misleadingly titled "Let the Good Times Roll") from 1977 at Carnegie Hall.

The Dance Of The Moon And The Sun is a 2006 double compact disc by Mehdi Ameziane and Solange Gularte, a French duo who are known as Natural Snow Buildings. This project was self-released before it was reissued by a company so this one was made for the fans.

Dragon’s Domain Records presents THE MARK SNOW COLLECTION, VOLUME 3, featuring two scores composed by Mark Snow (THE X FILES, SMALLVILLE, GHOST WHISPERER) for two television movies from 1994, while Snow was working on THE X FILES. With this collection we celebrate a pair of dramatic scores that Mark Snow (THE X-FILES, MILLENNIUM, THE GHOST WHISPERER) composed for television in 1994. The first is a murder mystery based on a true story, set in New Orleans. The second is a melodrama about two brothers competing for the same woman in a south Texas town. Both scores show how the composer can wield his versatile array of Synclaviers and digital samplers, mixed with the occasional live instrument, constructing exceptional melodies along with energetic and convincing simulated orchestral textures into effective and affecting dramatic musical storytelling.

Snow Patrol are to issue what they are calling an ‘Extended Edition’ of their 2024 album The Forest is the Path on CD, in March.
