A squadron of Japanese Self-Defense Force soldiers find themselves transported through time to their country's warring states era, when rival samurai clans were battling to become the supreme Shogun. The squad leader, Lt. Iba, sees this as the perfect opportunity to realize his dream of becoming the ruler of Japan. To achieve this, he teams his troops up with those of Kagatori, a samurai daimyo who also aspires to become Shogun.

Two childhood friends end up as rivals when their lives take opposite paths. To top it off they are in love with the same woman.

Amerikanische Truppen landen auf einer kleinen Insel in der Karibik. Am 30. Oktober in der Hitze des Gefechts tauchte direkt vor der amerik. Marineflotte ein sowjetisches U-Boot auf, die K-324. In der UDSSR wurde das Atom-U-Boot “Der Hecht” genannt, die Amerikaner gaben ihm den Namen “Der schwarze Prinz”. Das Pentagon wurde durch die Einmischung des “schwarzen Prinzen” erschüttert. Die K-324 war mit den neusten atomaren Marschflugkörpern bewaffnet. 10 Tage lang im Zentrum des Atlantischen Ozeans drohte der Konflikt zu eskalieren und der 3. Weltkrieg auszubrechen. Der Film erzählt von jenen 10 historischen Tagen im Herbst 1983, die man die 2. Karibische Krise nennen konnte. Zu dieser hitzigen Krise hatten im Vorfeld einige Vorfälle geführt: Der Absturz einer koreanischen Boeing, die USA stationierten überall in Europa Pershing 2 Raketen, die UDSSR bauten einen Flugstützpunkt auf Grenada und die NATO attackierten diesen. Den Herbst 1983 kann man als Höhepunkt der Kalten Krieges betrachten. Der Einsatz des U-Boot K-324 bewahrte alle Beteiligten vor einer großen Katastrophe.

In 1992, in Moscow, Anton Gorodetsky joins the forces of the light while hiring a witch for a black magic. In the present days, he faces the consequences of his act.
