João de Sousa Carvalho was one of the most important Portuguese composers of his generation. L’Angelica was his first opportunity to write a courtly drama after being appointed as music master to the royal princesses, and impressing these noble patrons was a top priority. Setting a libretto by the great poet Metastasio, Carvalho brings out every ounce of dramatic intensity in his richly expressive score, the story of how the beautiful Angelica uses and misuses her seductive charms told in music so captivating that Queen Maria entrusted her composer with key royal commissions thereafter.

Konchordat hail from Kent in the UK. They are a progressive rock band in the 'English' tradition; their music has been described as "majestic and often epic in scale." On their debut album 'English Ghosts' the music is led by main stays Steve Cork (basses, keyboards), Lee Harding (voice, keyboards) and Stuart Martin (guitars, keyboards, vocals). The album 'English Ghosts' scored 7/10 in a review by Geoff Bartom in Classic Rock Magazine (Feb.2010, issue 141). " The 20-minute title track is stately and masterful…" Their second album - The New Crusade - saw a personnel change, with Stuart taking over lead vocal duties as well as guitar. Their the third album 'Rise To The Order' was released by Bad Elephant Music on April 29th 2016.

The American quartet TILES hails from Detroit. TILES has a Rush meets Extreme kind of a hard rock sound. Their debut disc was a bit on the simplistic side, but their latest music is a realm dominated by SHADOW GALLERY and ENCHANT. The music is atmospheric on a vast level and well orchestrated with lots of layers. There is a greater use of acoustic instruments (mandolin, acoustic guitar and violin) and ballad structures. They bring us further refinement in their magical blend of prog sensibility and hard-rock energy. For fans of a technical brand of semi-prog hard rock!

-Quiet Riot was founded in 1975 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and singer Kevin Dubrow. The original line-up also consisted of Kelli Garni and drummer Drew Forsyth. METALLICA today announced that they will reissue their first two albums, 1983's "Kill 'Em All" and 1984's "Ride The Lightning", on April 15. The varied sounds of "Ride The Lightning", which included the first METALLICA ballad in "Fade To Black", drew mixed responses from some fans. The band's drummer, Lars Ulrich, told Rolling Stone magazine: "It did surprise us a little bit, I guess. People started calling us sellouts and all that type of stuff. Some people were a little bit bewildered by the fact that there was a song that had acoustic guitars."
