Mumbai-based Ramvilas Sharma has just broken-up with Sanjana Mahadik, a former bar dancer, with whom he had a six month relationship. His private-detective friend, Nandan Pandey, attempts to counsel him over this break-up, and even encourages him to meet other women. Ramvilas does meet with a homeless woman, Koel Datta, befriends her, and even brings her to spend the night in his flat but will be interrupted when Sanjana will come to take her belongings back and will leave a bag full of cash. Everyone will find their respective lives turned upside when they will be 'interrogated' by a suave French-speaking crook, Lucky Sardana, after the bag goes missing.

At once sensual and existential, this collection of songs—composed across 125 years—meditates on nature and nostalgia, sex and love, the ephemerality of the human spirit, and the eternal, transformative power of art. These song cycles of Edvard Grieg, Claude Debussy, George Crumb, and Robert Spano coalesce into a testament to the limitless potency and fragility of love—both its resplendent joys and its tender sorrows. Despite love’s transience and riskiness, the album compels us to ruminate on Rilke’s witticism that “for one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks…’’

Very nice pop/rock music with a touch of country. Great artist on the piano/vocal. I'm impressed by this CD. Kelley's playing has the kind of substance that acknowledges what has gone before without being derivative. Her singing is a joy. A warm sound, flawless intonation, great respect for a lyric and tremendous range. Her songs are written from her own experience.
