Nessuno meglio di Giorgio Bocca può aiutarci a riflettere sulla crisi che sta vivendo oggi la professione di giornalista. In Italia (e non solo in Italia) la carta stampata appare schiacciata dalle pressioni della politica e dell'economia, incapace di reagire allo strapotere della comunicazione televisiva, non più in grado di scandagliare i mutamenti reali della società. Orfani di grandi battaglie, i giornali perdono copie e non riescono ad attirare un pubblico di lettori più giovani.
