Together these two music legends have formed a musical synergy that is unparalleled. Better Late Than Never is the debut live album by the AndersonPonty Band, released in September 2015. Better Late Than Never was largely recorded during the band's debut concert on September 20, 2014 at the Wheeler Opera House, Aspen, Colorado, but the released recording also includes studio embellishments and overdubs. Better Late Than Never is a double disc Digipak including the 14-track audio CD, an hour-long 10-song performance bonus DVD (including artist interviews) and a 20-page booklet with complete song lyrics.

Released in May 1982, Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch marks Frank Zappa's entrance into the 1980s. From this point on, his rock records would focus on single, simple rock songs (the previous year's You Are What You Is had them organized in interconnecting suites) with occasionally more complex instrumental numbers. The recipe would be extended to The Man From Utopia (1983) and Them or Us (1984). Side one features three studio songs that would never be performed on stage. By 1981, Zappa had become a master at manipulating vocal tracks, a technique featured in each of them, but most successfully in "Valley Girl," where daughter Moon Unit (aged 14 at the time) pastiches rich girls from the San Fernando Valley…

Claire Anderson is an English radio DJ, television presenter and voice-over artist. She was the presenter of the Sony-nominated. The Late Lounge when it was broadcast on Jazz FM, from 2009 until 2016. This CD is a release of tracks that were regular playlist tracks on the show.
