The act every day of the year in the same place, taking high-flying moves when the tablao with all the luxury Round Capuchins, made it possible that "La Trocha" reached a high levels of professionalism and experience, which could be felt not only in daily activities but the annual discography, always surprising us with songs like "It was your love", "My Thoughts" or "pure Canela" among other compositions of excellent workmanship.

Jordi Savall, viol player, conductor, expert in early music performance practice, and founder of the ensembles Hespèrion XXI and La Capella Reial de Catalunya is responsible for what must be one of the most creatively and sumptuously packaged recordings ever produced. This two-SACD set gathers vocal and instrumental music from the era of Cervantes' Don Quixote, some of it directly related to the novel. Savall and Manuel Forcano selected and adapted sections of the novel and interspersed the music and readings, allowing the listener to follow the events of the novel accompanied and surrounded by appropriate music.

Latin pop/rock band from Spain El Ultimo de la Fila was formed in the mid-'80s by Manolo García and Quimi Portet. Manolo was previously playing in a band called los Rápidos, along with José Luis Pérez, Luis Visiers, and Antonio Fidel. Quimi was playing in a group called Kul de Mandril. When these musicians met in 1982, they decided to start a new project named los Burros, inviting Jordi Vila and Antonio Fidel to join in, signing up to an independent label called Belter soon after. When los Burros broke up, García and Portet started playing as El Ultimo de la Fila, debuting with an album called Cuando La Pobreza Entra Por La Puerta, El Amor Sale Por La Ventana, which was followed by 1986's Enemigos De Lo Ajeno. A year later, the duet had the opportunity to perform at the Amnesty International show in Barcelona, playing along with Bruce Springsteen, Sting, and Peter Gabriel. After touring all over Spain and many countries in Latin America, El Ultimo de la Fila broke up in January of 1998. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide

TRIANA is the most legendary progressive rockband in Spain. Their stunning debut-album was a seminal blend of flamenco and progrock and paved the way to flamenco-inspired progrock in Spain, culminating in bands like AZAHAR, CAI, ALAMEDA, QUALDAQUIVIR, MEZQUITA and MEDINA AZAHARA. The story of TRIANA started in Seville, the beating heart of the flamenco. Jesus de la Rosa (keyboards/vocals) was a known musician in the local music scene and he even had international success with "Los Bravos" and their single "Black Is Black". But he wanted to form his own band to make progressive rock, so he recruited Eduardo Rodriquez Rodway (vocals/guitar) and Juan Jose Palacios ‘Tele’ (drums/percussion). The trio called themselves TRIANA, named after the most traditional part of the town and they moved to Madrid. With some help they were allowed to record their music in a studio with highly advanced equipment.
