Hailing from North Carolina, two sisters and friends of the Maggie Valley band came together in the town they now identify themselves with. Each member learned their trade of music in the beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. Sisters Whitney & Caroline Miller grew up in a home where playing the piano was a daily requirement. Daily requirements turned to passion as they hit the streets to street busk. After years of busking, The Maggie Valley Band was officially formed and decided to take it inside-to venues. TMVB is currently in the studio for their album under the direction of Grammy nominated producer, David Mayfield.

The Real Thing, with original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith and a live five-piece band, are on tour promoting their first new album of original material in 44 years - A Brand New Day, along with their new soulful single Hang On Never Let Go.
On the reverse of this single is a live version of their classic composition Children of the Ghetto which has been covered by the likes of Courtney Pine, Paul Hardcastle, Mart J Bligh and Philip Bailey. This is the first time that a recording of this track has been made featuring lead vocals by Chris Amoo.

Iconic British soul and funk band, The Real Thing, will celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2020 with the release of a brand-new Best Of album, featuring a never-before-released track, released on BMG on 10th January 2020. The release coincides with a brand-new documentary about the group, Everything – The Real Thing Story, by filmmaker Simon Sheridan which will be coming to cinemas in January 2020. Formed in 1970, The Real Thing’s incredible rise from the streets of Toxteth in Liverpool to the bright lights of New York is chronicled in this new album full of incredible hits, including ‘Can’t Get By Without You’, ‘You’ll Never Know What You’re Missing’, ‘Can You Feel The Force’, and of course the ubiquitous song that saw the band become the first all-black British group to hit #1 in the UK charts: ‘You to Me Are Everything’.

The Complete Stone Roses is a 1995 compilation of singles and B-sides by British indie band The Stone Roses. It was released without the band's input by their record company Silvertone, with whom they were embroiled in a protracted legal battle to terminate their five year contract. The album features an almost complete collection of the band's Madchester heyday recordings for the label, as well as prior releases for other labels. However, many tracks are substantially different in quality from their original release, having been re-engineered by Silvertone, with the results garnering criticism from music journalists and fans alike.
